MEF Educational Bridge is a company based in Karachi, Pakistan. The person responsible for your data is Jamil Ahmed. Contact us at contact@example.com.

• Account details: your name, email address and the role you choose (teacher, school or parent). Sign-in is handled by Clerk.
• Profile details: city, phone number, and what you add to your profile, such as a teacher's gender, subjects, qualification and experience, or a school's area, address, Google Maps link, classes and fees.
• Verification documents: teachers upload a CNIC and degree; schools upload a registration document and a CNIC. You may add other documents.
• CVs: teachers may add a CV (PDF).
• Messages and applications: inquiries, messages, job posts, job applications and cover notes.
• About children: parents may give a child's class and subject when contacting a teacher or school. We do not ask for a child's name.

• Public: verified teacher profiles show the name, gender, city, subjects, experience, qualification and the Verified badge. Verified school profiles show the name, full address, Google Maps link, classes, fees and the Verified badge. Open job posts are public, including any gender requirement.
• Phone numbers: never public. Shown only to the other person after you accept their inquiry, or when a school shortlists a teacher who applied.
• Email addresses: never shown to other users.
• Verification documents: only our verification team can open them, through links that expire after five minutes.
• CVs: only schools you apply to can open your CV, through links that expire after five minutes.
• Messages: only the two people in the conversation.

• To run your account and show your profile.
• To verify teachers and schools.
• To deliver inquiries, messages and job applications.
• To send emails about your account, such as a new inquiry, an accepted inquiry, a new application or a shortlisting.
• To prevent fraud, spam and misuse, and to keep the platform safe.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show ads.

We share data with these providers only to run the platform:

• Clerk, for sign-in and accounts.
• Neon, for our database.
• Supabase, for storing documents and CVs in private storage.
• Resend, for sending emails.
• Vercel, for hosting the website.

These services may store data on servers outside Pakistan. We may also share data if the law requires it.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We keep your data while your account is open. We keep verification documents after a decision, so we have a record of how each profile was verified. Files you replace or remove, such as an old CV or a deleted document, are deleted from storage.

• You can edit your profile at any time from your dashboard.
• Teachers can remove their CV at any time.
• Before you submit for verification, you can delete documents you uploaded.
• To see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account, email contact@example.com from the email address on your account.

Documents and CVs are kept in private storage that is not reachable from the internet without a short-lived link. Access to them is checked on our servers for every request. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the site. See also our Terms of Use.
